The versatility of the SDT170 is enhanced with the
use of the Magnetic Sensor. Good for monitoring slow speed
bearings, trouble shooting hydraulics, pneumatics, steam traps,
listening for electrical faults inside switch gear panels, and more.
Its compact size and rugged stainless steel shell matches the longevity
of all the products in the SDT170 line up.

The Broadband Contact Probe is the
standard sensor for contact applications supplied with
most SDT170 kits.
This probe is most useful for
mechanical inspections and condition monitoring, as well
as acoustic relubrication of bearings when used in
combination with the Acoustic Lube Adaptor (top right).
The broadband sensor has a 4kHz
bandwidth and a tunable frequency range from 16-190kHz.
Frequency is tuned using the sweeping filter function or
"Discover Frequency Band" function on your SDT170.
This sensor comes with a standard 4"
needle. Alternatively, it can be equipped with 1/4" and
M8 threaded studs for permanent mount options.

The Tri-Band Contact Probe is used to
measure ultrasounds in structure borne applications.
The Tri-Band has three filtered frequency
settings. We recommend using the US setting for steam
traps, valve inspections, and slow speed bearings.
This contact probe does not permit
access to the tunable frequency function.

Conditioned base
lubrication is the trend of the future that is here today. The Acoustic
Grease Gun Adaptor connects your Ultrawave 170 to any grease gun
allowing lube techs to acoustically re-grease bearings hands free.
The lube adaptor is available on its own, or equipped
with an ultrasonic sensor designed to trend and evaluate frequencies
associated with early lubrication failure.
