The super sensitive internal airborne sensor of the SDT170 with the precision indicator is well shielded from ambient plant noise. Plug in the Flexible Sensor to get at those hard-to-reach areas and use the Extended Distance Sensor for overhead ceiling piping.  The EDS uses a calculated angle to shape and focus ultrasonic signals making long range detection possible.
